Alright, I know it’s only a few days into the week but I thought I’d do this now. I’m going to start doing at least 1 tech review, and 1 literature or writing (words) review every week, just whatever’s hot that week or whatever I’m reading at the time. So what’s up to bat this week? Well, if you read the title, Sound Cloud. You may have noticed an auspicious looking orange raining cloud widget off to the right of your screen. You did? Good! This technology–if you care at all about music–will change how you listen, share, and understand music, artists, and labels, probably forever. I recently came across it stumbling around music blogs like maddecent and thehoodinternet.com. It seems to be getting pretty popular with everyone from hardcore music junkies to the starter band buying studio time with the money they get from Coin Star. So what is Sound Cloud?

After the recent jungle/drum n’ bass/ Diplo trip I’ve been on recently, I figure I’d keep it going one more day. Today I bring you a hot new artist off of Man Recordings and affiliated with the good folks over at maddecent. The Group’s name is SCHLACHTHOFBRONX and have been doing big things recently with some artists I’ve been highlighting like Radioclit, Diplo, Crookers, Sinden, and many more. You can’t help to get up and dance on this track. This track “Ayoba” is off their recent EP similarly titled Ayoba. Apparently, the word “Ayoba” is a uniquely South African slang term meaning “for sure”, “for real”, or “right on”
This could just be noise, but I got a tweet from @diplo (well, not just me) that he’s got a mind to release a new mixtape with both Major Lazer and Souljaboytellem (yes that’s his full artist name). This is blowing my mind right now.
